The Dräger X-plore® 8000 series Portable Air Purifying Respirators (PAPR) offer a new level of intuitive handling and versatility combined with intelligent electronics to provide the safety your people need to focus on the task at hand.
ROBUST: The Dräger X-plore 8500 Powered Air-Purifying Respirator is designed for daily use in tough environments with a high ingress rating of IP65, resistant against dust and water jets from any direction
COMFORTABLE: The PAPR full face respirator system offers several advantages: advanced carrying system & optimal weight distribution, tight and stable connection between belt and unit, 16 to 20 hour high capacity battery with less than 4 hour rapid charging, fast and easy disassembly for cleaning
SAFE: The PAPR unit recognizes the connected headgear and automatically selects the correct minimum flow which avoids leakages due to insufficient flow rates. An alarm system signals when use is attempted without a filter and displays the saturation of the particle filter.
HEADPIECE OPTIONS:
*Helmet with Visor: Several face seal options are available to combine with the helmet: Zytec® and Tychem® material in neck, chin and shoulder seals.
*Helmet/Bump Cap and Hood combination: The hoods are an attachment for the helmet or bump cap. The Tychem® hoods, provide protection in chemical environments. The hoods are available in Tychem® 2000 and Tychem® 4000 material. The Tychem® 4000 provides a higher level of protection. Refer to permeation data sheets for selection of hoods.
There are various seal attachments for the Dräger helmet.
(Zytec®: For abrasive environments the Zytec® material is durable and provides protection, comfort and performance. The material is fire and chemical resistant. Tychem®: For applications requiring protection from chemicals, liquids and vapors, the Tychem® neck seal or shoulder shroud.)
