Drager Import Tariff Surcharges

Subject: Important Update Regarding Import Duty Surcharges
In response to new international trade policies and import duties, we will implement a temporary import duty surcharge on our products.
This is not a product price increase, but a flexible surcharge based on current import duties. We believe this
approach best supports our shared goals as it can be quickly adjusted or removed if conditions improve.
As part of our commitment to supporting you, we delayed this decision by absorbing these added costs through significant internal efforts. As the scope of import duties expands, a different approach is needed to maintain the quality, service, and supply continuity you expect from Dräger. In continuing to support you, we will absorb a portion of the costs, supported by actions such as:
- Optimizing logistics across the supply chain.
- Exploring sourcing alternatives.
- Implementing cost control measures and process efficiencies.
Here is a breakdown of the temporary surcharge amounts based on current import duties:
Product area Import
Duty Surcharge
New Safety Equipment 6.0% - Effective May 19, 2025
Spare Parts, Accessories and Consumables 6.0% - Effective May 19, 2025
The import duty surcharge will not apply to service labor and software licenses and support.
** A limited number of items can have up to 70% depending on country of origin.
*** Effective date based on current tariff situation and subject to change.
All quotes, order confirmations and invoices will have the applicable surcharge included. Purchase Orders should include the Import Duty Surcharge.
We remain committed to exploring both short and long-term sourcing strategies and working in partnership with you to navigate these challenges together and reduce future impact. For any further information, please contact your Dräger Sales Executive.
Thank you for your continued trust and confidence in Dräger.
