The mercaptan chip has been placed on a production stop. We are currently out of stock. Production is

expected to resume by the end of September 2020.

During our routine quality checks in the production process we found unacceptable deviations of the

accuracy. The chips were not released so the issue was contained and there is no recall of earlier batches of

mercaptan chips.

Our Production and Development departments are working to resolve the issue. We will advise by a

separate circular letter when the chips are returned to production and available from stock.

As an alternative we can offer the Mercaptan 0.1/a, 8103281 tube, range 0.1 to 15 ppm with the accuro or the

X-act 5000. The range on the chip is 0.25 to 6 ppm, so the tube more than covers the range on the chip.
