Extractive Midas® transmitters (universal) operate with sensor cartridges, for use as a local gas detector. Sensor Cartridges must be ordered separately. Units are powered by 24 Vdc or via Power over Ethernet (PoE). Transmitters provides 0-22 mA analog and odbus/TCP Ethernet as standard outputs. Integral relays for A1, A2 and fault are

included, and may be configured normally open or normally closed, latching or nonlatching. Transmitters include (1) PG16 gland fitting for power in and relays out, 1/4 in. O.D.x 1/8 in. I.D. Sample Inlet tubing (10 ft. / 3m), 1/4 in. O.D x 3/16 in. I.D. Exhaust tubing (10 ft. / 3m), and a sample line tubing duct adapter (1283K1090).

Additional Details

  • High Temperature Pyrolyzer Module for Perfluoro Compounds (PFC) Gas Detection (order separate transmitter unit)
  • Higher Temperature Pyrolyzer MIDAS® transmitters provide detection of C4F6, C5F8 and other gases. Unit includes a snap on pyrolyzer module that operates with any Universal MIDAS® Extractive Transmitter (order separately). Units are powered via direct connection to transmitter unit.  this option. Pyrolyzer includes Pyrolyzer Quick Start Guide and installation screws.
  • Order the PFC cartridge (MIDAS-E-XCF) separately. Order the ventilated top cover (MIDAS-A-103) separately. MIDAS-T-NP1: The Midas Pyrolyzer allows for the detection of NF3 and other CFX gases. Cost of ownership is low, as the Pyrolyzer has a field replaceable heater assembly with a lifespan of greater than two years.

Additionally, the enhanced version of the Midas Pyrolyzer delivers: • Improved detection accuracy of gas concentrations with smaller footprint

• Lowered operation temperature that saves power and reduces system stress • Reduced startup time to reach thermal stable state ready for gas detection
