The product comes with an impact- and chemical-resistant covering. Upon purchase, the owner has the choice to "renew" the instrument for an additional two years. The Drager PAC 5500 has been designed with the latest miniature Drager XXS sensor technology which combines high performance with quick, ten second reaction time. The large, clear display screen shows gas concentraion and measurement unit. The monitor can also be changed to show the gas detected. The user can adjust the display setting to continuous numeric display, which can also be back-lit to allow for easier readability. The monitor contains a vibratory and audible alarm along with using flashing LED lights at its top and base. The product can store up to 60 different events with dates and times which can also be connected to a PC in order to print and store.
